Chinquapin is proud to introduce Laura Hipps, our new Director of Development! Laura first heard about Chinquapin Prep more than a decade ago from the beloved Chinquapin board member, Willy Keuhn. She came aboard in late June and quickly got up to speed on Burr traditions and supporters. Laura has more than 15 years’ experience in fundraising and recruiting and hopes to continue to move forward Bob and Maxine Moore’s legacy of providing a high-quality college-prep education to academically and financially underserved students.

Laura earned a BA in French Literature and English from the University of Georgia and an MA in French from Middlebury College. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, yoga, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
