Many thanks to State Representative Jarvis Johnson (Chinquapin, 1990) for inviting our senior class to Austin this week. They were able to observe budget discussions, chat with Representative Johnson and become immersed in the legislative process.

Chinquapin Preparatory School provides a challenging, college-preparatory education to motivated youth from low-income families in the Houston area. It is the only low-income boarding school in Texas. Chinquapin is privately managed and funded.
